We have great teams, interesting projects, big challenges, within our hands-on engineering development center in the Portland area. Our global company engineers materials handling solutions for the future. Current projects include alternative energy systems and large electric drive trains.

We are also looking for an individual who is ready to be more involved in leading people as well as the energy system/power electronics development process. This leader interacts with all aspects of the organization at a global level. Join our team as we take materials handling design to the next level.

Responsibilities:


  • Ability to motivate and lead global teams through empowerment, development, and exceptional communication skills.

  • Proven ability to communicate upward and downward within a matrix organization and to communicate the appropriate level of information at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to influence and drive consensus to deliver programs which meet customer expectations on time, on budget, with high quality.

  • Solid presentation skills.

  • Strong project management including requirements, schedule development, resource planning and risk planning.

  • Ownership of truck systems development and test processes such as, truck power electronics for: traction control, hydraulic control, power distribution and management, and energy storage systems.

  • Proven experience taking customer level requirements and developing system and component level requirements and specifications

  • Supplier management and relations


We are seeking the following qualifications:


BS or MS in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred)
12+ years of experience in product development and management including:

  • Embedded systems development including custom hardware and software

  • Power Electronics including DC/DC and DC/AC power conversion

  • Strong understanding of Alternative Energy and Energy Storage systems, specifically Li-Ion Batteries and Fuel Cells for Fork Lift Truck applications

  • Strong understanding of High Voltage DC systems

  • Application of software distribution to manufacturing systems

  • Leading technical teams with solid project management skills

  • A proven track record of delivering high quality projects on time, on schedule and quality

  • Industrial Automotive/Mobile Equipment electronics and control system experience

  • Knowledge of sensors and wiring systems

  • Deep understanding of vehicle communication networks including CANbus and associate protocols

  • Decision Making: Exhibit good judgement and a realistic understanding of issues; demonstrate ability to take decisive actions to develop product and to overcome potential project roadblocks.

  • Teamwork and Flexibility: Function well in a team environment by working well with other employees and other departments. Solicit opinions from coworkers, support group decisions, and display team spirit. Be open minded and flexible enough to work effectively in an environment where project priorities may shift in response to customer or company needs.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
