Senior Application Assessment Project Engineer

HYG designs, manufactures, sells and services a comprehensive line of lift trucks and aftermarket parts marketed globally under the Hyster, Yale and Utilev brand names. As a Senior Application Assessment Engineer, you will have ownership of Application Center projects and must be able to:
Work independently in the field with the largest customers in their industry segments, while collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Service, Fleet Management, Product Development and Sales Training.
Be expert on the process of capturing spoken and unspoken customer needs. He/She can walk into a customer's environment and quickly identify challenges and opportunities for improvements. From these assessments the individual is empowered to quantify and guide in development of solutions that can deliver quantifiable value to the customer.
Make recommendations for product configurations for large scale bids. Examples of these recommendations may be: powertrain configuration, standard and special options, and attachments needed.
Become knowledgeable about our entire product range, including Big Truck, Counterbalanced and Warehouse.
Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, including senior management.
Travel approximately 25%-35% and be able to successfully work in different cultures.
Qualifications:
BS degree in engineering
High level of engineering knowledge. Master's level or significant experience in the Lift Truck industry (7 years minimum).
Must be able to identify and quantify strengths and weaknesses in product offering relative to specific Industries/Applications

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
