(HYG), a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for a Software Developer in our facility located in the Portland, Oregon area. HYG designs, engineers, manufactures, sells and services a comprehensive line of lift trucks and aftermarket parts marketed globally under the Hyster and Yale brand names. We are one of the global leaders in the Material Handling industry and have been building relationships and partnering with our customers, suppliers, dealers and employees for over 80 years.
HYG is looking for an individual to join a small team of mechanical engineers and .NET programmers who support numerous product design applications. This position plays an important role in creating, modifying, and implementing software and processes that are used in all facets of mechanical design. Our team deals with the flow and accessibility of information within engineering and the rest of the organization. This individual interacts with all aspects of product development, including engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and procurement, across 14 global locations in 7 countries. Join our team and help design and implement the software tools and processes that will take forklift design to the next level.
Work with internal customers to interpret and implement proposed changes into software code that includes: CAD, vehicle stability simulation, Virtual Reality (VR)/CGI/Rendering/Animation, Requirements Management (Siemens Polarion), project resource management, and proprietary engineering applications.
Work collaboratively with other programmers and engineering teams to design processes, architecture, requirements, project scope, implementation strategy, test plans, code reviews, and user training.
Identify opportunities for process automation and work with extended teams to architect and implement solutions.
Analyze current code base and propose enhancements.
Mentoring of our team in .NET.
Bachelor Degree or higher.
Proficiency in service-orientated architecture (WCF and/or ASP.NET web services).
High proficiency in .NET, C#, and Microsoft SQL Server (ADO.NET).
HTML5, Python, VB.NET, JavaScript familiarity.
Microsoft Certified App Developer (MCSD.NET or similar) preferred.
Innovative thinking, troubleshooting and problem solving.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
