Awesome culture! Room to grow with the company!Job DetailsWe are seeking a talented and experienced Permanent Controller to join our dynamic team in the finance industry.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in Microsoft NAV and Microsoft Dynamics NAV, cost accounting, month-end close, imported goods, financial statement preparation, monthly P&L, and inventory accounting.
This is a high-stakes role that requires someone with a keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the finance department and ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner Manage the month-end close process, including preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements Prepare monthly P&L reports and analyze variances to budget Manage inventory accounting and ensure that all inventory transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner Analyze cost accounting data and provide recommendations to management on how to improve profitability Manage the import process, including tracking shipments, customs clearance, and payment of duties and taxes Work closely with the CFO to develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's goals and objectives Provide leadership to the finance team and ensure that all team members are trained and equipped to perform their duties effectively
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field 3
years of experience in a similar role in the finance industry Strong knowledge of Microsoft NAV and Microsoft Dynamics NAV Experience with cost accounting, month-end close, imported goods, financial statement preparation, monthly P&L, and inventory accounting Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously CPA or CMA certification preferred, but not required.
