9K a year 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago Middle School Athletics Coordinator The Athletics Coordinator at each middle school will be responsible for the organization and promotion of all the youth sports programs serving students at their assigned site.
Middle School Athletics Coordinators will:
Oversee the athletic clearance process for district sponsored programs, volleyball, cross-country, boys' and girls' basketball, wrestling and track and field.
Schedule facilities in coordination with the administrative team and director of operations.
Schedule contests, transportation, and officials (if appropriate) for district sponsored programs.
Provide information to students and families, i.
e.
, copy and distribute flyers, create displays, create announcements for the daily bulletin, website, auto-dialer, etc.
Monitor equipment and facilities and make budget recommendations to the district athletics director.
Implement programs to recognize and promote academic and athletic achievement.
This position will earn a 5% Extra Duty Stipend for fall (Sep.
through Nov.
) and 5% Extra Duty Stipend for winter (Dec.
through Mar.
) and be under the supervision of the building principal and district athletics director.
Ideally, one person would serve both seasons, but two individuals working together could share the role.
One coordinator will be placed at each middle school.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
